Invia.hu is part of a leading Central European travel group with over 20 years of presence in the Hungarian market. To further strengthen our position, we are looking for a Convert Business Owner to join our team.
Be the architect of seamless checkouts—setting standards and shaping smarter processes.
In your daily work, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the mapping, analysis, and optimization of checkout processes across the entire booking chain (from offer selection to purchase confirmation)
- Identifying and documenting differences in booking processes across various suppliers and developing standards for handling them
- Creating and maintaining process maps (as-is / to-be), including identifying risk points, errors, and system dependencies
- Cooperating with technical and operational teams to standardize and automate data flows between suppliers’ systems and the booking platform
- Monitoring the accuracy of checkout processes and reacting to deviations (e.g., incorrect booking statuses, missing payments, data inconsistencies)
- Implementing control mechanisms and reports to ensure data integrity across systems
- Initiating and leading process improvement initiatives aimed at process stability and consistency
- Designing and testing checkout variants (A/B testing) for different segments—mobile/desktop/app and different markets
- Contributing to the development of upselling and cross-selling mechanisms within the booking process
- Reporting results
Our Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business process management within e-commerce (experience in the travel industry is a plus)
- Hands-on experience in process mapping and optimization
- Strong attention to detail and an audit-oriented mindset—the ability to spot irregular or non-standard process behaviors
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams: business, IT, operations, and external suppliers
- Ability to translate process analyses into concrete business and technical requirements
- Process- and systems-oriented thinking—ability to understand complex dependencies between systems and suppliers
- Experience working with various service providers (tour operators, payment systems, API integrations) and understanding process differences between them
- Understanding of data quality control principles and the detection of transactional errors (e.g., missing confirmations, incorrect booking statuses)
- Ability to work in a geographically diverse, remote team
- Fluent English
- Nice to have: experience implementing standardization or centralized process models in a multi-supplier environment
